Hello, first off id like to introduce myself, My username is ElyCyon and I started playing on this server a few days ago and I've got to say i really have enjoyed my time on here so far, thus me making this post. when a new player such as myself joins this server, there is a lot of nostalgic feeling there, which is good.. but with every good thing, there comes some flaws.. now I am not making this to bash on anything or anyone, but all these things i am about to list are simply personal suggestions where i have seen on other successful faction servers that have become an all time favorite. I believe with some simple tweaks that more people would begin to join and stay and have a great time, replenishing the competitive scene that could be on here. After all it all depends on a persons first impression of a server as to whether they stay or go.
1st Con that i have came across is the unbalanced of pvp mcmmo skills. it is clear you promote grinding mcmmo skills with grinders which is fine and definitely fun but maybe possibly look into it with how easy levels are to get to how much greater advantage it gives you over most people, now it may be easy to say go grind the levels out yourself then, well to a new player that isn't much of an option due to the curve of going from 0 spawner's to 1 blaze, the hourly level/money increase is tremendous
Overall I would like to see some sort of nerf within the pvp mcmmo skills, Not a EXTREME, but enough to make sure mcmmo itself determines a fight.
2nd Con Fair and simply put, Gapple timer. In the time of playing 48ish hours, I've seen far to many people just munch'in on those apples to stay alive, and only relying on those. Ex.120 second cooldown smh where the pots at?
3rd ConThe price of gen buckets is straight out too expensive. that deters anyone of wanting to build a big enough, and well protected base, and i get it, its the lazy mans world with gen bucket, but in this time of minecraft people can tnt through 50 walls in less than 5 minutes. the time ratio between building a wall : raiding a wall is a very well known extreme difference. (With this economy id say a fair price for one single cobblestone gen bucket would be $8500-$10,000)
4th con It seems to me like Blaze rod farms are like the Main focus of money on here, which is is, which leads to my next point to how its heavily based towards end game aka having spawner's, so if you don't, its a hell of a grind to get one, and then that's when your life becomes easy. I personally think buffing some of the farming profits would be beneficial towards the newer players.
Now moving onto some more light weighted suggestions such as possibly:
Mob Arena plugin to have players pass time whilst being on the server instead of standing infront of your blaze grinder all day, wouldnt have to be OP rewards, just simplicity with some fun.
Faction fly i mean who wouldn't want to be able to fly around there base quick. now i get it may not be exactly appealing to all, but it would and could have regulations. when an enemy or neutral person is near you, you would be taken out of fly, if you would be in combat, youd be taken out of fly, you would only be able to fly in your claimed land, and have it be a reward after voting (x) amount of times to unlock it. it would be a good incentive giving people reasons to vote, and its not locked behind a donor perk.
I've heard a lot, and it is also fairly obvious that some people have unclaimed grinders with lots of spawners in them, or have a lot of spawners that they place when they are on, and mine when they log off, i think adding a fee to mine a placed spawners could deter people from mining theirs when they log off. its very difficult and frustrating to know you get into a base to see the faction or person has mined them prior to getting off. thus making the only viable time to raid someone is when they are on, and at their base afking/grinding... which would be clearly enough time for them to notice they are getting raided and mine the spawners, and that would conclude the raid as there's no point.
Now ofcourse these are just few of the suggestions i have, as i will more than likely make updated suggestions on the comments in this, but if you have taken the time to read all this, please consider some of these ideas with an open minded perspective. I do apologize if i happened to make a wrong statement or that i suggested something that has already been implemented somewhat. I do expect most people to either deny or be against most of this, but again they are just suggestions i believe some people would like to see on the server!
I sincerely appreciate you creating this post! Recommendations and suggestions are what keep us up to date and know what the players desire; it is extremely beneficial.
Fortunately, many of the aforementioned revisions proposed are going to be in effect within the next reset! Many of these have been brought to my attention by you and others, and so I accommodate based on popular suggestion. The mob arena is a new idea to me, and so I will look into that and see what we can come up with.
@GaryGil. AKnife was banned for disputing a payment to the server, disputing is when someone forcefully withdraws their money / donation that they've previously made. This is a harmful act and therefore, is against our rules.
